On Tuesday, April 26, a hybrid workshop on the topic of BIM in the infrastructure sector outside of towns took place in cooperation with the Center Building and Infrastructure Engineering (CBI). Together with numerous representatives from industry and research, BIM was highlighted and discussed, especially with regard to construction and operation in the field of infrastructure.
Representatives of the companies Die Autobahn GmbH des Bundes, DEGES, Eiffage Infra-Bau, Eurovia, HEITKAMP Unternehmensgruppe, Hilti Group, HOCHTIEF, ISAC GmbH and Wayss & Freytag Ingenieurbau AG participated. From a scientific point of view, the workshop was accompanied by the Geodetic Institute (GIA), the ICoM – Institut für Baumanagement, Digitales Bauen und Robotik im Bauwesen, ISAC – Institut für Straßenwesen der RWTH Aachen University as well as the Centers Center Building and Infrastructure Engineering (CBI) and BIM Center Aachen (BCA) of the RWTH Aachen Campus.
The CBI and BCA would like to thank all participants of the workshop for the numerous, lively discussions as well as the great feedback. We are looking forward to further meetings!
